Theatre Academy of Lake Charles (TALC) is your place to learn all about theatre and experience the thrills of participating in live stage productions. Our classes run on a quarterly basis.

There is not an age limit for people to take classes at TALC. As long as a person can participate, learn, and can use the bathroom on their own, that person is welcome to take classes at TALC.

TALC's goal is to bring professional level theatre education and professional level theatrical productions ot the Lake Charles area. It is where theatre artists can truly learn about all aspects of theatre.

TALC is not yet open, but is in planning stages. We will work with McNeese and existing community theatres and theatre companies. We are not here to compete with them, but to give a more complete and rounded education to those who want to learn about theatre and focus on one production at time. Students are always welcome to retake classes as many times as they would like.
